Project Scope
The Bethesda Station South Mezzanine project integrates the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Purple Line with the existing Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Bethesda Metro Station. The project includes constructing a new mezzanine over the active track, along with escalators, elevators, stairs, exit fare equipment, and upgraded mechanical, fire, and security systems.
